Right after high school, Clay started working for his dads family owned plumbing business, where he learned the trade from his dad Clair. He became a Journeyman Plumber and then a Master Plumber. He has worked in both commercial and residential plumbing. After starting his own business Deseret Plumbing Services, in 2001, he has had over 30 years of plumbing experience.
Now both Clay's sons are in the family business and learning the trade from their dad as well. They have been taught to use the highest quality parts and equipment, and are dedicated to delivering exceptional work to provide you with satisfactory service.

This is caused by hard water deposit build up on the burner plate inside the water heater. When the water heater heats up these deposits expand causing the popping noise.
Yes, in most cases yearly. Most new water heaters have their own way of keeping sediment from settling on the bottom of the tank, but it is a good idea to flush yearly. Tankless water heaters do need to be flushed yearly to avoid warranty issues, we offer both services.
